With the deadly epidemic, the ‘novel Coronavirus (Covid-19)’ turning recently in March’19 to a pandemic has forced the entire globe to quarantine, social distance and stay mentally standstill at their respective abodes. Probably, a scenario we would come across once in a lifetime and should be proudly explaining to our grandchildren post the outbreak survival.

Many conspiracies are being digitally eavesdropped on its origin from the Wuhan sea market or the Wuhan biochemical laboratory and its spread beyond the Chinese provinces. The numbers are still escalating and alarming with the virus epicenters changing frequently from Wuhan-> Iran -> Italy -> USA leaving no traces for cessation. Our greatest capabilities in medical sciences are falling short even with the latest technologies and planning in place for accommodation.

A sense of panic, fear, and anxiety symptoms have been surmounting the human race for the last couple of weeks which surely needs to be addressed. How should we think positively about Coronavirus as a boon to the human race?

Let me list down a few below:

  1. Home Sweet Home:

When did we all spend with our loved one's weeks together without stepping out of our homes in our busy schedules?

When did we stop on our contributions to culinary or cleaning activities at home?

When did we last spend those beautiful days cherishing the bleeding sunset from our balconies or terraces?

Looks like we should get nostalgic cherishing once again all those beautiful moments of our childhood. Well, these are the ‘limited stock’ days to count on before our countries declare ‘Business As Usual’ post the pandemic.

2. Understanding Chain Reaction Dependencies:

Perhaps, we would have never understood the dependency chain we maintain in our day to day lives without the virus breakout happening.

Offices have been forced for granting work from homes to employees leaving those clueless who did not plan for the business continuity management under such adverse scenarios.

Daily wage workers like shop vendors, maids, homeless, taxi drivers, restaurant/hotel chains, eCommerce giants, etc. are categorized as the worst hit in these lockdown phases making us realize their importance in our busy schedules. We and the government bodies must be responsible for being considerate of them to fulfill their daily bread. Thanks to the grants being offered by governments at this time and the small deeds contributed by the quarantined to their immediate dependency chain.

Street dogs and other animals have gone berserk with no trace of humans on roads, perhaps a time these animals are superior to the human race when it comes to ‘freedom’. Let's not forget them in our bucket list to offer some food and care!

3. Police, Doctors and Nurses turning as second parents:

Thanks for the tireless efforts taken by these ‘special’ human-beings under these extreme scenarios for tackling our safety and precautions for our lives. They have taken the extra mile to go beyond their families and serve their duties for the citizens of their countries.

As an example, Indian policemen have been punishing those who wander on the roads during complete lockdowns by making them clean roads, hold awareness placards and some strong doses with lattis. (Indian police sticks)

Let’s do our share by applauding their relentless efforts and stay back at our respective abodes rather than testing on their patience levels.

Appreciate the ‘JanthaCurfew’ initiative promoted by the Hon. Indian PM Narendra Modi to applaud on their efforts, probably a first initiative that made the entire country unite with a single motto for those 5 minutes.

2020 has been declared as the year for ‘Doctors and Nurses’.

4. Friends, Pals, and relatives — Thanks to the Internet and Social Media:

Likes, comments, status updates have been the trends for years ever since social media has surfaced, however all of a sudden in these quarantine days, we feel void and empty to share and express our thoughts beyond the four walls.

Well, a perfect time for a quick change in trend to make phone calls and facetime to young childhood buddies and relatives who have been socially distanced from our regular lives. Perhaps never in our wild dreams, we expected to have loads of free time without the necessity of buying it.

Internet service providers are striving hard to maintain bandwidth speeds for making our lives comfortable at homes without disruption to digital services offered at the same costs.

5. Politics & global leaders:

Politics a popular field game that has been evolving interestingly on earth as the number of candidates and parties have been doubling, with absolutely no space for unity amongst the ruling and opposition parties.

However, thanks to the pandemic which made all the political parties stand on the same page with a coalition to fight against the deadliest virus of the 21st century. Governments and global leaders are striving hard to take inputs and strategy methods from other parties, country heads to handle the situations in their respective countries.

Global leaders have pledged for contributions to the worst-hit countries across the globe and are effectively conducting laboratory tests to find a suitable drug to cure this pandemic at the earliest. Also, some of the nations have been rendering test kits and medical supplies for nations in dire needs.

Well, how beautiful it is to see the entire globe fight for the same goal under one roof with no oppositions and hurdles from any nook and corner, though each one of us is evident of the slowdown in economies.

6. All humans are one religion:

No matter we are divided by a plethora of religions, castes, and language, yet we are bucketed into only one as the human race. We never got a better opportunity to join hands and battle for a similar cause, except for some utopian imaginations of aliens sneaking into the earth orbits.

Let us cherish these moments of oneness among all the countries and their respective global leader's efforts to overcome these difficult times.

For now, we can sit back and enjoy the apocalyptic beauty of nature, monuments, and buildings in a standstill with absolutely no human trace.

Well, to conclude let us all stay in unity going further and win the battle against the pandemic ‘Covid-19’ very soon and save our mother earth from the human race. Let’s not forget the lessons and moral takeaways this virus has taught in the past couple of weeks which is being a boon to the human race.

Nothing in life is more important than home, family, and doctors.

Stay safe, stay strong and be positive !!
